Senses

11/5/14 This month we're learning all about using our senses and today we focused on sight.  

They decorated paper glasses and played "Pin the Glasses on the Face."  Everyone loved that game and they were all giggles when I spun them around to disorient them. 

They also colored on paper, which we eventually turned into telescopes.We went outside for a "scientist" walk and used our telescopes to look for different colors.  

The picture I'm attaching is so cute.  Ryan didn't want to turn his masterpiece into a telescope so he's improvising.  

I'm so grateful it's still warm enough to play outside.   Whenever they play in our backyard, they use a leftover concrete block as a teleporter to teleport them to the other side of the yard.  Unfortunately,  the concrete block broke a little while ago, but we were able to find all the pieces to put it back together. 

I had a great time with your kids today. I love teaching them.
