Thanksgiving Lesson

It was a double lesson lesson. But that meant a lot of crafting, which the kids love.

We experimented with our colors of the month, Brown and Orange.

We colored turkeys. The girls wouldn't stand for a brown turkey, of course.

Then we talked about things we are thankful for.
Ryan is thankful for food, Mi Na for her American Girl Doll, Eisley said "nothing" but then changed it to her mom. Christopher said toys.

The kids had fun practicing their turkey strut. Below is a video of it. (you have to go to the blog page to see it)
They also loved the 10 little turkey finger play.

Then the parents came for a variation on a Thanksgiving feast.
Turkey roll ups, carrots and tomatoes, dried fruits and seeds, and "cornucopias".
We even had a pumpkin sheet cake that we used to sing Happy Birthday to Ryan.

Baby Pilgrims. Love.
