We went through our regular morning routine with the calendar, weather, pledge, and the imagination box question that asked, "What is your favorite part of a plant"? Chris said the stem, Ryan answered, roots and Eisley said, leaves...they are pretty. We got to talk all about the plants and flowers.
Reviewing our letters Q, R,and U.
For snack we stayed with our topic for the day and made flowers out of fruit. They had fun exploring new ways to use the fruit and creating fun flowers. Plus it was yummy to eat when we were done designing.
We checked out our green house and discovered that not much was happening with the beans. Still no sprouts.
Writing practice and review of letters the oval and our sight words he and she.
Colors:
Question? Do you like worms? why or why not? They all agreed they did and they all different reasons why. Ryan: Because they feed our plants. Eisley: because they go slow. Christopher: because there some long ones. We continued to talk all about worms!! They wiggled and moved as best they could like a worm. It was challenging with no hands and arms but they did it.

The kids made their very own gardens using shapes to create different veggies. Orange triangles for carrots, green circles for cabbage, red circles for tomatoes, green straight lines for celery and a brown circle for a potatoes. Some were growing above the the ground and some in the ground.
We ended our preschool week with Show and Tell. They each brought a toy that represented the letters Q,R,or U. Christopher brought in a Robot, Ryan brought his Remote to a remote control car, and Eisley shared her Unicorn toy.
The weeks are flying by with these little ones and they are learning and growing so much!
